EPES Receives Multiple Awards From Lowe's

Lowe's Home Improvement held their Annual Carrier Conference on Thursday, March 30th 2017. I am pleased to report that during the conference, Epes Transport was presented with two awards, recognizing exceptional service provided during the year.

The first award presented was that of "Gold Carrier." Minimum requirements that must be obtained to receive "Gold Carrier" status are inbound service to the RDC's of 99%, load acceptance of 92% and EDI Shipment Status Compliance of 98.5%.


The second, and more prestigious, was that of "2016 Outbound Carrier of the Year." For 1-way outbound carriers, the minimum threshold is 99.5% on-time service, with a minimum of 1,500 loads. To be recognized as the "2016 Outbound Carrier of the Year" is quite an accomplishment and one that we should all be very proud of. During Lowe's' fiscal year 2016, Epes Transport handle over 17,230 store loads from regional distribution centers to stores within the Lowe's network.


We could not have achieved this level of success without the unwavering support from all levels of our management team, the dedication of our Operations personnel and the extraordinary efforts of our professional driver fleet. This was truly a team effort, in every sense, and an outstanding achievement!
