WHERE: 2917 School Park Field, High Point
The “Buddy” System — Make a New Friend. Gain a New Perspective.
One of the most important parts of the league is the “Buddy” system, pairing each player with a volunteer helper. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend some time on the field helping a player maximize the joy of their experience. Helping these kids will warm your heart and give you a new perspective on life.
Goals for The Miracle League of High Point “Buddies” are simple:
To protect the player at all times.
To assist the player according to their needs.
To allow the player as much freedom as possible to play.
To have fun.
Become a buddy and you will be amazed by how much you are needed and cherished by the kids and their families. We promise you will witness a miracle and meet a new friend for life!

The Epes Transport Greensboro terminal is collecting plastic bags for the months of January and February for the Operation Bed Roll initiative.
Operation Bed Roll is a collaboration between the Greensboro, North Carolina Field Operations and Police departments. It is to keep non-recyclable materials out of our landfills and help some of Greensboro’s neediest residents have a safe place to sleep. Operation Bed Roll is aiming to transform plastic grocery bags into sleeping mats for people in Greensboro experiencing homelessness.
Epes is donating plastic bags to the Operation Bed Roll initiative as well as supporting a local high school student in obtaining 250 hours of community service in order to obtain a service-learning diploma.
