In 1931 our company was born in Blackstone, Virginia and operated by one family as The Transport Company for the next fifty-five years. In 1987, Epes Carriers, Inc. of Greensboro, NC bought the company and renamed it Epes Transport System, and in 2018 Penske Logistics in Reading, PA acquired Epes.
