Epes Million Mile Award
Epes honors those drivers that have driven 1 million miles accident free at Epes Transport.
Funeral Leave
Three (3) days paid funeral leave will be permitted for death in the immediate family, the rate of pay will be $100.00 per day.
HazMat Endorsement Fee Reimbursement
Epes will reimburse the cost incurred for obtaining/renewing a hazardous material endorsement for a CDL license.

Holiday Pay
Once hired, full-time road drivers will receive $150.00 holiday pay for the following holidays:
- Easter - Good Friday
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Years Day
- Memorial Day
Jury Duty
Road drivers who are summoned for jury duty will be paid the difference between $100/day and the amount received from the court.
Knight of Highway Award
Recognizes highway heroes and/or good deeds rendered to fellow drivers and/or the general motoring public.
Life Insurance
- Life Insurance is provided by Guardian
- Optional Life Insurance
- Available for purchase thru payroll deduction.
Optional Disability Plan
This is optional insurance and is paid for by employee through payroll deduction.
Pre Pass
Allows you to bypass scales in the states where available.
Rider Program
A Year Around program designed for drivers and passengers that meet strict requirements.
In addition, insurance coverage on the passenger must be obtained, before authorization is given.
Roadside Inspection Award
Epes will give $20.00 cash for all roadside inspections with no violations that are turned into their driver manager.
Safe Driving Awards
Recognizes safe driving for those drivers who are not involved in a preventable accident during their anniversary year.
Scholarship Fund
Epes Carriers makes available a scholarship award to deserving children of Epes Carriers subsidiary employees.
Service Awards
Recognizes length of service with Epes.
Spousal Support Program
EPES Transport will be starting up the Spousal Support Program for 2014. This program was designed to provide support, updated company information and events as well as be a resource to the spouses/significant others of our Driver's. Quarterly newsletters will be mailed out to our members who register for the Spousal Support Program.
If you have a spouse or significant other, please have him/her fill out the Spousal Support Registration form and turn it back into Human Resources. You can pick up a registration form at any driver terminal including the Greensboro Human Resources department. Vacation Pay
All full-time drivers who have been in continuous employment will receive paid vacation as follows:
- After 1 year - 1 week
- After 2 years - 2 weeks
- After 10 years - 3 weeks
- After 15 years - 4 weeks
- After 25 years - 5 weeks
Vacation pay will be an average of the employee's regular wages and works on an employee's anniversary year. Vacation time must be taken.
